2:103 wa law annahum aamanuu wattaqaw la mathuubatum min 'Indillaahi khayr* law kaanuu ya'Ålamuun
Meaning: If they had kept their Faith and guarded themselves from evil, far better had been the reward from their Lord, if they but knew!
8:66 al-aana khaffafallaahu 'Ankum wa 'Alima anna fiikum Da'Åfaa* fa iy yakum minkum miatun Saabiratuy yaglibuu miatayn* wa iy yakum minkum alfuy yaglibuu alfayni bi idhnillaah* wallaahu ma'AS Saabiriin
Meaning: For the present, God hath lightened your (task), for He knoweth that there is a weak spot in you: But (even so), if there are a hundred of you, patient and persevering, they will vanquish two hundred, and if a thousand, they will vanquish two thousand, with the leave of God: for God is with those who patiently persevere.
