FORM SIX

FORM 6: It is derived from the FORM 3 by adding or prefixing the "ta" in front of the first root letter. It is a reflextive form of the form 3. The exemplary verb tafaa'Ala is used for conjugation.

* تَبَارَكَ - يَتَبَارَكُ (tabaaraka, yatabaaraku)[b-r-k][ ب -ر- ك][FORM-6](To be blessed, be praised) 7:54 tabaaraka llaahu = blessed be Allah.

* تَبَايَعَ - يَتَبَايَعُ (tabaaya'A, yatabaaya'U)[b-y-A] [ ب -ي- ع][FORM-6](To sell to one another) 2:282 tabaaya'Åtum = (you sell to one another.)

* تَتَابَعَ - يَتَتَابَعُ (tataaba'A, yatataaba'U) [t-b-A] [ ت -ب- ع][FORM-6] (To follow consecutively) 4:92 mutataabi'Ayni= consecutively.

* تَثَاقَلَ - يَتَثَاقَلُ (tathaaqala, yatathaaqalu)[th-q-l][ ث-ق-ل][FORM-6] (To be slow, sluggish, act slowly) 9:38 iththaaqaltum = you cling heavily. (Deformed form. Real form is tathaaqala.)

* تَجَافٰي - يَتَجَافَي (tajaafaa (tajaafay), yatajaafaa (yatajaafay)) [j-f-w][ ج -ف- و][FORM-6] (To forsake, shun, avoid, keep away) 32:16 tatajaafaa = forsake.

* تَجَانَفَ - يَتَجَانَفُ (tajaanafa, yatajaanafu) [j-n-f][ ج -ن- ف][FORM-6] (To incline or decline) 5:3 mutajaanifin = does (not) incline.

* تَجَاوَزَ - يَتَجَاوَزُ (tajaawaza, yatajaawazu) [j-w-z][ ج -و- ز][FORM-6] (To exceed, forgive, overlook) 46:16 natajaawazu = We will overlook.

* تَجَاوَرَ - يَتَجَاوَرُ (tajaawara, yatajaawaru) [j-w-r][ ج -و- ر][FORM-6] (To be neighbour) 13:4 mutajaawiraatun = neighbouring.

* تَحَاضَّ - يَتَحَاضَّ (taHaaDDa, yataHaaDDa)[H-D-D][ح-ض-ض][FORM-6] (To encourage one another) 89:18 taHaaDDuuna = you encourage one another.

* تَحَاكَمَ - يَتَحَاكَمُ (taHaakama, yataHaakamu)[H-k-m][ح-ك-م][FORM-6] (To sue one another; bring one another before a judge or a court) 4:60 yataHaakamuu = they go for judgment.

* تَحَاوَرَ - يَتَحَاوَرَ (taHaawara, yataHaawaru)[H-w-r][ح-و-ر][FORM-6] (To dialog, converse, mutually conversing) 58:1 taHaawurakumaa = (dual) [(Allah hears) the conversation of you both.]

* تَخَاصَمَ - يَتَخَاصَمُ (takhaaSama, yatakhaaSamu)[kh-S-m][خ - ص- م][FORM-6] (To quarrel one another) 38:64 takhaaSumu = quarrelling among themselves.

* تَخَافَتَ - يَتَخَافَتُ (takhaafata, yatakhaafatu)[kh-f-t][خ-ف-ت][FORM-6] (To converse secretly, e.g., to whisper together) 68:23 yatakhaafatuuna = they conversed secretly.
